Copyright and ownership

Glucose Please is developed by Gus Gaidelevicius. Unless otherwise identified, copyright in the original material created by Gus Gaidelevicius for the app and this website belongs to him.

This material includes original source code, text, artwork, animations, visual interface elements, and the screenshots and product imagery on this website, to the extent they qualify for copyright protection. Rights in these materials are reserved, subject to the permissions, licences, and legal exceptions described below.

Interface artwork and animation

The app's original visual artwork and animations include its ambient background compositions and animated glucose-line graphics. Permission to use the app does not itself grant permission to extract or reproduce protected artwork, animations, or code in another product.

Screenshots, recordings, and other depictions of the app, including those published on this website, do not grant permission to reproduce or trace the artwork, animations, or interface elements they show.

Names and branding

"Glucose Please" is a trade mark of Gus Gaidelevicius. Together with the app's distinctive overall presentation, it identifies Glucose Please and distinguishes it from other products.

Do not use this name, or a name or presentation confusingly similar to it or to the app, in a way likely to suggest that another product is Glucose Please or is made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Gus Gaidelevicius. Accurate references to Glucose Please by name, such as in reviews, articles, and comparisons, are welcome.

Using the app and website

You may download and use Glucose Please and browse this website for their intended purposes. The app is free to use; making it available at no charge does not place its original material in the public domain. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to the conditions on this page.

Except to the extent applicable law permits it despite this condition, you may not decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the app, or extract its artwork, animations, or other resources from the app bundle. You may not distribute modified copies of the app, or distribute the app under a different name.

You may link to this website. Uses permitted by applicable law, including relevant copyright exceptions, remain permitted. These conditions do not restrict ordinary use of the app or website.

Privacy

How the app and this website handle your information is explained in the privacy policy.

Read the privacy policy

Copying and reuse

Unless applicable law, an applicable licence, or an express permission allows it, you must obtain permission before reproducing, adapting, distributing, or incorporating protected material into another app, website, or product.

Existing permissions for public website content continue to apply, including use for search, AI answers, and model training, subject to the published crawler policy. Any reuse outside those permissions remains subject to applicable copyright law and licences.

Health and safety

Glucose Please is a supplementary display of Dexcom Share or Abbott LibreLinkUp data. It is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and does not replace your primary sensor app, receiver, glucose meter, or clinician's advice.

Readings, trends, alerts, and insights may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable, for example when your sharing service or network is unavailable or your Mac is asleep. Do not rely on Glucose Please as your only source of glucose readings or alerts, and confirm readings with your primary sensor app, receiver, or glucose meter before making treatment decisions.

Warranties and liability

Glucose Please and this website are provided free of charge, "as is", and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Gus Gaidelevicius makes no warranties about them, including that they will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Gus Gaidelevicius is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the app or website, including reliance on readings, alerts, or insights. Nothing on this page excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Sensor providers and other third parties

Glucose Please is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Dexcom, Inc. or Abbott. Dexcom and Dexcom Share are trade marks of Dexcom, Inc. FreeStyle, Libre, LibreLinkUp, and related brand marks are marks of Abbott. These names are used only to identify compatible products and services.

Other third-party software, fonts, symbols, trade marks, and materials remain subject to their respective owners' rights and applicable licences. This notice does not claim ownership of those materials or replace their licence terms.

Governing law

These conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and Gus Gaidelevicius submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and the courts that can hear appeals from them.

If any part of these conditions is found to be unenforceable, the rest of them continue to apply.

Changes to these conditions

These conditions may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app or website after an update means you accept the updated conditions.
